Exploring St Michel sur Savasse, Drome

After more than 15 hours of flight (Jakarta – Kuala Lumpur – Amsterdam – Paris), 3 hours of train trip, 45 minutes drive by car, we finally arrived in St. Michel, sur Savasse, Drome, France.  Our first stop for our honeymoon.

The place is nothing but an absolute beauty! We stayed in a ranch owned by Mamie and Papou, Aldy’s host parents when he was an exchange student in France back when he was in highschool.  Papou and Mamie moved here about 11 years ago when they were retired.

It’s pretty cold in here, around 3 C, but the house felt so warm. The food was awesome.  We love Mammie’s home cooking.

Yesterday, just before the sunset, we took a stroll around the ranch to enjoy the stunning view of the area.  Here are some of the pictures that I took.
